well with the week off I found myself bored and looking for new excitement. I had for some reason decided to pick up Red Lite since I remember it was one of my favorite browser based games. something like 5+ years ago is when I last played it and nothing has changed since them- well the user base but thats it lol. I’m going to finish up this round and probably give it up again. what absolutely sucks is you can spend a week building a pretty decent army of thugs and hoes and then log in the next day and be all 0’s. as in another gand attacked you and stole all your shit. its quite frustrating. hasn’t happened to me yet since I’m in 16th place and don’t seem to be much of a threat.

I also found a few other cool games..
Universe Wars - this is a pretty sweet tick based game, what sucks is the ticks are just way to fucking slow. think or ummm.. war craft (pre WoW). or better yet civilization, where you have to build everything from scratch.. mine, farm, cut down trees, etc.. then you build your town, etc etc… with the eventual goal of fighting other nations.

well whats annoying with this game is the tick system is so fucking slow and there isn’t enough to keep you busy between ticks. 1 tick (turn) is 15 minutes. so if I put all my works to work building something they will basically be busy for the next 2 hours, meaning there isn’t jack shit for me to do. you can however upgrade to a paid account where the ticks are then only 10 minutes apart which to me is still to long for this kind of game. I mean there is a lot of fucking shit you need to build and having to wait this long is ridiculous. 2.. 5 minutes at the very most would be pretty acceptable.. but 15?!

I also picked up HoboWars which is also by the same developers of Universe Wars. the inspiration no doubt came from the series Bum Fights, which is a great because I found it hilarious just as I do the game. there is also a tick system involved here but it isn’t as annoying. what is annoying is how fast you run out of turns when you want to continue playing…

and finally what I burned a good 4+ hours playing yesterday..
Duels!!! - this game is the fucking shit. you can kick as in it without having to pay a dime, or you can kick major ass in it by spending a few bucks. its a fantasy like rpg where you level up a character then duel other players. the user base is fucking huge so there is always someone ready to duel you. then there are other rpg elements like a skill tree- pretty much exactly like the one in WoW if your familiar with that at all.

if you decide to only check one of these out I would recommend Duels all the way.
