I host sigmonic.com over at 1 & 1. why? I dunno, I was in a hurry to find hosting and it was cheap. I haven’t really touched it for over a year. they really don’t give you many rights as far as how you can manage your material then ontop of that you can’t even create your own password- this is my biggest gripe and the biggest reason I haven’t kept up with the site. they generate a god damn password for you and it’s obviously something no human can memorize- so if you don’t have it written down or saved in your ftp client then your screwed.

anyway, I get an email telling me my subscription payment is due.. blah blah blah. I delete it and say good, close my account. well yesterday I’m looking through my credit card statements and what do I find?! a fucking charge from these bastards. I did not have auto payment set up. they kept my shit on file and auto drafted my credit card when I didn’t pay them directly.

I was gonna let it go and just close my account over the phone but now that I think of it more that sorta pisses me off. I couldn’t believe it. yah.. I guess I’ll call them sometime next week.
