just got done with a 2 mile run this morning. this is usually what I do before I weight train at the gym- I bust out a quick 2 mile run and continue with my weights.
anyway I had recently decided that since I can’t get to the gym as often as I’d like I could atleast continue running at home.
let me tell you, there is a huge difference between running on your tredmill and being out on the street running. I’ve always sort of known this but you can’t actually weigh it until you have done enough of one to compare it with the other.
after one freakin mile I was spent. If I’m running on a tredmill I ‘could’ continue running if I wanted to, the street? no- had to walk haha. I walked long enough to catch my breath and continued to run home.
after that I have a new found respect for people I continually see jogging day after day. it looks easy, hell so much so I think a lot of people avoid it simply because they can’t even imagine you getting a very good work out from it anyway.
well I’ll guess we’ll see how I fair with this in the coming weeks. I especially have to run after picking up an $80 pair of Pumas. one thing I have to say about those shoes is WOW! my feet have never felt so comfortable in a shoe. my feet don’t even know I just got done running.

What puma model are you buying? I need to get a decent pair myself so I can get out jogging ..
I picked up the Puma Voltaic shoes. in black =D
