well, I’m almost there. I always receive offers in the mail- most of them make it to my trash can before I can give them a second thought but for some reason I was bored and decided to open some of them.

two were local banks offering me loans. one was a shitty deal, the other wasn’t to bad so on my lunch bank the next day I went to see what they could offer me.

the application process was quick and the guy was able to give me more than enough to pay off my debt- in fact he asked me “you sure you don’t need anymore?”. I quickly said NO. hah, what’s this shit, get me out of one shitty situation into another? no no no.

the only downside is the high interest BUT actually making one payment with high interest is going to save me a lot of money rather than making 5 different payments- 3 cards carrying a very apr themselves.

so yah for real, the next day when I was able to log on to my computer and pay off all my credit cards was like taking the biggest dump of my life- the most releaving sensation ever. and so fitting to mention it that way because I’m actually taking a dump while I write this. (oh the joy of technology)

in three months when my credit has had time to adjust I’m sure I’ll be able to refinance this loan with someone else and get an even lower interest rate.
