haven’t had time to write much lately- been quite the busy guy lately. well a combination of that and my right hand is feeling some carpal tunnel coming on. I’m starting to think it might be from using a laptop.. or just using it to much. I’m considering getting a Mighty Mouse but I’m a little paranoid about them after reading some of the user reviews. people either love em or hate em- but the haters are because they seem to have gotten a defective mouse. so… if you happened to one of the lucky ones who got a working mouse then it looks like you’ll be happy with it. I might chance it..
I started another intense workout regimen which is another reason I’ve been tired after work. after about a week/week and a half of it I’ll be back on track and it won’t take such a toll on me. I took a break for a month and it really hurt me- about the longest layoff you can take from lifting is about 2 weeks without it doing anything to your strength. right now my biceps are still sore from monday morning. and although its not a very comfortable feeling, it feels nicer than feeling like putty.
this week has already started out pretty shitty- the last two days have been crap. yesterday I spent about a half hour in some ones attic mid afternoon. it was probably 130 degrees in there, quite possibly even hotter, no joke. there was a low pitch in the roof two which didn’t make things any better.
the second I entered sweat started pouring from my face onto my clothing. I finally found what I needed to work on and sat indian style while I tried to work. sweat continued to pour from my face into my lap until it look like I had pilled all over myself.
I exit the attic to see if I had fixed the problem (I did) and the customer says ‘oh was it hot up there or something?’- annoyed I say “YES! it’s like sitting in a hot car with the windows rolled up, go up there”.
what’s scary about the attic situation to me is I have a high tolerance for a lot of things. generally you should take many breaks when working in an attic but I just want to get the job done and get the fuck out. so I’m sitting there being bleed to complete dehydration wondering… I wonder if I’m going to pass out- will I know if I’m about to? will it be to late when I notice a problem? well obviously I made it out alive but I might have cooked my brain a little.
today almost as bad- customer has a snowy pic on one tv.. while I fix it I ask, “is this the only tv with this problem?”. they tell me yes and everything else is fine. I get done and the guy says- “we have another tv thats not working”. I say… ‘what!? I asked you earlier if this was the only one!’. *sighs* so I ended up having to crawl around underneath this guys house because his shit was wired quite awful. I had to charge his ass for the call merely because he couldn’t tell me up front that he had another shit he wanted me to fix- thus putting me an extra hour behind schedule. not to mention making me get my clothes dirty.. haha.
I should be back tonight with a few things- right now it’s time to get back to it. I’m endowed with the pleasure of working in the rain the rest of the afternoon, yay for me…

Any special reason you want a wireless mouse? Never found one that I like - they always work like crap. On the other hand I’ve never tried a expensive mouse either
I guess it really doesn’t ‘have’ to be wireless- they make a wired version which I’m sure is cheaper. I suppose wireless simply for the cool factor os well.. being wireless haha.
like I said I read through a bunch of the reviews and some people had tried a lot of other mice and didn’t like anything until this one.. hmmm. maybe mac just doesn’t have good mice? I’ve been using Logitech mice on my pc for the last six+ years. never bought anything else. maybe if I could get one to work with mac that would be ok..
